The Forex economic calendar publishes data for all the major Forex currencies. Time is based upon UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).
Upcoming news items are displayed in chronological order. For each even the scheduled time of release is displayed.
Traders can make use of the calendar to identify times of expected high volatility which can be viewed for individual currency pairs on our Forex charts. Events where markets are anticipated to exhibit higher levels of volatility, an indication of the expected level of volatility is indicated by the number of exclamation marks (‘!’) listed next to each event. The more exclamation marks that are shown, the higher the anticipated volatility.
Furthermore events are also colour coded. This provides an additional easy visual reference to help identify the expected level of market volatility.
Red events are anticipated to be the most market moving. Events marked as orange or yellow are expected to exhibit relatively lower levels of price volatility.
The Real-time Forex Economic Calendar provides general information. While we every effort is made to keep it accurate please be aware that inaccuracies may occur. As such it is not intended as a trading guide. Events and times shown may change without notice.
